August 11, 200521 yr Author You are shure, it was after Xpize?! I have that with my Shuttle WLAN-Dongle without XPize, too! But the device manager method works fine for me.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>absolutely, 100% positive. i tested it with two different computers with fresh installs.
August 14, 200521 yr I face the same problem too. Using Xpize uAE 1.2Don't really understand the necessary steps to fix it, anyone knows how?For some reason, I can't open the Status Dialog Box of my connection either.
August 19, 200521 yr sorry to bump this post again. i tried replacing my netcfgx.dll but it still doesn't work.XPize is installed via XPize uAE 1.2 slipstreamed into WinXP SP2
August 19, 200521 yr Author thats odd. thats the file that did it for me. i heard someone else having the same problem and we weren't able to pinpoint what was going on. try reinstalling sp2 and then go through the files one by one, adding them and then restarting. you might want to use vmware to do this so you dont screw up your main system.
August 20, 200521 yr tried replacing some files too. does not work..do you think it may be caused by a tweak in nLite?I cannot disable my connection neither can I view the Status Dialog-BoxCan only view the Status if I click it from the taskbar..
August 22, 200520 yr Windows could not finish repairing the problem because the following action cannot be completed:Disabling the wireless network adapterMake sure your network adapter is properly installed.Even after deleting the dll Edited August 22, 200520 yr by muiz
August 23, 200520 yr Do you happen to use IDM? Internet Download Manager?<{POST_SNAPBACK}> who, me? noAnd also after integrate xpize, the anoying found new hardware wizard popup is back with alcohol and deamon tools
August 25, 200520 yr I get the same error using nLite, XPize and RyanVM (all latest versions as of today). What would the process be for fixing this exactly if I'm using nLite. I also get the Found New Hardware Wizard pop-up whenever a new drive is found.
May 5, 200719 yr Solved: Can not disable netwrok Connection I found a solution, hope will work for you !1. Restart the PC, enter to BIOS setup by pressing F2 or Delete.2. Go to Advanced settings.3. There to Plug & Play O/S Option, and set it to Yes.Now if you try to disable the network..it should work. Thanks & Regards05/05/2007
