improvable Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 What do i have to do to replace the normal notepad.exe with Notepad2 on the Windows-CD.So i want that a normal installation will copy Notepad2 instead of Notepad.exe to the Harddisk.thanks a lot.
XPero Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 (edited) Rename Notepad2.exe to Notepad.exe, makecab it (Notepad.ex_) and copy it to your i386 folder before making the ISO. Edited August 4, 2005 by XPero
improvable Posted August 4, 2005 Author Posted August 4, 2005 (edited) Sorry, but what do you mean exactly by: makecab itBy the way, beside Notepad.ex_ i found NOTEPAD.CH_ NOTEPAD.HL_ in the i386 folder. Can i delete these files ? Edited August 4, 2005 by improvable
