What do i have to do to replace the normal notepad.exe with Notepad2 on the Windows-CD.

So i want that a normal installation will copy Notepad2 instead of Notepad.exe to the Harddisk.

thanks a lot.

Rename Notepad2.exe to Notepad.exe, makecab it (Notepad.ex_) and copy it to your i386 folder before making the ISO.

Sorry, but what do you mean exactly by:

makecab it

By the way,beside Notepad.ex_ i found NOTEPAD.CH_ NOTEPAD.HL_ in the i386 folder. Can i delete these files ?

Wouldn't it be possible to use this method for other apps like Windows Media Player, meanig to slipstream WMP 9 by replacing to files directly on the CD ?
