kurt476 Posted July 30, 2005 Share Posted July 30, 2005 when i have WGA disabled windows update is still trying too search for updates of coures, nothing els will show on the side of the windows update site but reviw, install updates, on the right side nothin is there but the install updates that is grayed out. could some1 tell me how too get this too work properly? kurt476 Posted July 30, 2005 Author Share Posted July 30, 2005 (edited) ok i did some test on internet explorer 6, 7 for windows update and that 7 has a problem with windows update site, 6 dosen't have the problem. i think microsoft has to still has to update there code on windows update for internet explorer 7 it not compailbe to IE 7 yet. IE7 has same behavior on my genuine validated xp.thanx for pointing that out dman when IE 7 Beta 2 come's out i will do the same thing too see if it dose have that bug in beta 2. i hope IE 7 beta 2 dosen't have that bug i hop it fixed. we'll wait and see.
