rstryker Posted February 6, 2003 Posted February 6, 2003 The company i work for has switched there internet filtering software to Websense (http://www.websense.com)now i cant get to hotmail, yahoo, news etc... anyone know of a workaround?
MSNwar Posted February 6, 2003 Posted February 6, 2003 If they have not blocked google or AOL > google you can get around it that way.First, go to google, type in a keyword like "mail" and do the search, then use the extended search feature by adding "hotmail". Hope it works.
rstryker Posted February 6, 2003 Author Posted February 6, 2003 i can get to google but everytime i click a link to hotmail, espn.com, yahoo sports etc i get a page that says "site restricted"
Drewdatrip Posted February 6, 2003 Posted February 6, 2003 Look into Java Based browser applications..i have seen those around, and they are not generally restricted by companies, due to the fact that they dont know the exist...=Drew
