Hi,

When I launch intrenet explorer i am unable to close a page down by clicking the X in the top right of screen. I can minimise but pages will not close. The only way i can close pages is to go in to task manager and end task.

I have reinstalled sevice pack 1 but still unable yo close, i have used firefox but this soes not work with some of my programs.

Can anybody please help me with this, it's driving me mad.

What happens if you click on the X ?

And what happens when you minimize the window, go to the taskbar and try to close a windows by right-clicking and CLOSE ?

Doesn't that work also ??

try pressing Alt + F4 thats on way closing Pages aswell have u do a adware/spyware scan and are these pages just normal sites i.e google/msfn etc
