help regarding opening msdos, its not openig in XP

hi friends

I am gettin problem in opening any of my dos applications in my win XP pro SP2

it says d:\windows\system32\autoexec.NT is not suitable for running MSDOS and MS WIN applications.

What to do plzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me out

Insert a Windows XP-cd in your Cd-drive:

go to START --> RUN and then type:

expand E:\i386\autoexec.nt_ c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt

(E is the letter of the CD drive)

If you don't have the CD you can download it HERE.

Extract the ZIP file to your windows\system32 directory.

That ought to do it !
