Marthax
Hi all!So, does anyone know how to do it?I've tried using this registry tweak[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer];"NoRecentDocsMenu"=dword:00000001 but that will remove the recent documents in the new start menu. It doesn't work for the classic one. What do I do to remove it in the Classic Start Menu? Thanks in advance!Marthax
Doc Symbiosis
You have to remove the semicolon at the beginning of the second line, cause everything after a semicolon is ignored in a registry file ( the semicolon is the character to insert comments ).If this doesn't work, have a try with[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced]"Start_ShowRecentDocs"=dword:00000002 Edited July 17, 2005 by Doc Symbiosis

charles__
You might want to try this, have been using it for a long time with no problems.http://www.browsertools.net/IE-Privacy-Keeper/index.htmlJust remember if you install hardware or software and it tell you that you need to reboot do not run this app, because there will be files in the temp folder the install will need. You can set it up any way you want.
