Nanaki
Well, it's out. Here's what's new in Firefox 1.0.5: * Several security fixes. * Improvements to stability.Really only security bugfixes, but it's notable faster than 1.0.4 for me. Anyway, this should be the last release before 1.1.Also, DP 1.1a2 should come any minute now. Edited July 12, 2005 by Nanaki

I'd hate to be an Internet Explorer user even with the 'recent' updates to XP when SP2 came out. And even still IE has had similar bugs to FF mainly problems with rendering images. In my option its better.... got to love all the extensions!Extensions I useadblockborkborkborkcuneAformcutemenusdownloadmgrduplicatetabfireftpflashblockflashgotieviewjslibquicknotesagetabprefswebdeveloper

Nanaki
DPa2 is also out. It's really getting better. New stuff: * Software update system to streamline product upgrades (currently disabled– will be turned on shortly for testing) * Faster browser navigation with improvements to back and forward button performance - Fastback * Drag-and-drop reordering for browser tabs * Improvements to popup blocking * Better support for Mac OS X (10.2 and greater) - Safari profile migrator, Aqua compliance and shell service * Several security enhancements- Software Update requires to change your XML-file, but it's pretty useless now as it doesn't include Incremental patching yet, so the downloaded updates are still 4meg+. Good thing is that you don't get an installer anymore, but an updater.- FastBack rules - Drag 'n Drop isn't as good as the MiniT+indicator extension, but it does its job.My two cents Also, XUL-error pages are now enabled by default instead of the annoying dialog boxes. Too bad there not as goody-looking yet. But they will soon. Edited July 13, 2005 by Nanaki
