Xable Posted July 16, 2005 Author Posted July 16, 2005 (edited) hakeem5454, not sure exactly what you mean but if you don`t create an Administrative Installation Point you cannot slipstream the updates.A bit more detail would be nice in future. Hope this helps. Edited July 16, 2005 by Neanderthal
hakeem5454 Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 i cant use the \a command to make an admin install because i dont have the admin file or something?
Xable Posted July 16, 2005 Author Posted July 16, 2005 (edited) ignor double post Edited July 16, 2005 by Neanderthal
hakeem5454 Posted July 16, 2005 Posted July 16, 2005 umm..i think i have a retail one because i heard that u need a corporate one to be able to use the /a command?
Xable Posted July 16, 2005 Author Posted July 16, 2005 (edited) theres your problem, you need a non-retail version. I thought putting this at the top of the guide was clear enough!Important, You can only slipstream updates into an Administrative Installation Point (AIP), if you don`t have a non-retail version of office 2003 you cannot create an AIP and therefore cannot slipstream the updates. Can anyone sudgest a clearer way of putting this?
