Can't delete a folder from Recycle Bin

Well i have problem when i try to empty my recycle bin...

iam using windows Xp sp2....

i get this msg when i try to "Empty Recycle Bin"

"Error in Deleting Files or Folders"

"Cannot remove folder abfug_C2:Directory is not empty"

but the directory is already being deleted...but it still shows up in my Recycle Bin

any solution for this

Try restoring the folder from the recycle bin. Rename the folder to "abc". Where the folder exist, make (then run) remove.bat file with the contents:

rd abc /s /q

thanx for the reply....

but the Recycle Bin seem to be empty the folder is already been deleted....

but it shows as if its there.....

Did you tried CHKDSK /F ?

If it does not solve that, look at google for "alternate data streams" and you'll found tools for removing them.

some programs are trying to access to this folder. Try to restart your computer and delete.

if it doesn't work, try to delete it from command prompt or recovery console. It should do the job.
