Marthax Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 Hi all! When I use the shutdown command I get this strange message. I've never had this before, it's the first time I see it and I'm sure that I must've changed something with nLite that is causing this. The question is what. Or am I wrong? Is is something else that is causing this message to popup? Does anyone know how to solve this?Thank you in advance!Marthax
matthewk Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 I have a shortcut to the following for shutdown:%windir%\system32\shutdown.exe -s -t 00 Hope this helps
Achdine Posted June 24, 2005 Posted June 24, 2005 That's the Shutdown Interface. It comes up when you use the -i flag on the shutdown statement. Very handy when you're doing remote computer stuffs, but you definitely don't need it for a UA installation.
Marthax Posted June 24, 2005 Author Posted June 24, 2005 (edited) Now I see what the problem was. I used the -i and just as achdine menitioned, that's used for "remote computer stuffs" , which I don't need. I tried it out without the -i and it worked fine. The weird part is though that when I use this command in my RunOnceEx shutdown -f -r -t 10I get nothing. RunOnceEx finishes and loads desktop. Why is this? I want it to restart, not continue.BTW, nice avatar Achdine. It gives me flashbacks EDIT: Never mind guys. It works now Thanks all!Regards,Marthax Edited June 25, 2005 by Marthax
