Context menu different?

Featured Replies

I have a strange problem.... I'm using a theme installed with stylexp and I'm getting a different look than with an unattended registry install, on my context menus.... I've dug or almost 2 full days now and can't find settings to change it.... Even tried the regshot and still can't find this... Anyone know how to get my context menus flat instead of raised like the pictures below?

There is difference between a theme and msstyle. What stylexp changes is msstyle and windows properties via desktop change both the theme and the vs. So in order to get a uniformity, first use a msstyle, then save it as a theme (or use theme packaged in your style) and use the theme always to get the same settings.

What I did was with the machine with StyleXP is selected everything I wanted then saved the Theme and copied it to my unattend CD. Is this what you mean?

Here's how ya turn flat menus on which is what I was looking for.

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop]

"UserPreferencesMask"=hex:9e,1e,07,80

The 3rd hex value has to be changed to 07.
