Ivanov Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 Hi, all!I want to ask u something about regtweaks.I cant undestand how to use my regtweaks.reg file with unatted win. I know how to make *.reg file, but I dont know how to use it in unatted windows - where I must put the reg file? In which folder? Some another thinks who I must to do?Please, explain me... simpler...
TheeBeets Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 (edited) Well its quite simple. Use the method your doing to install your custom applications such as Wpi and load it through there using a command below.REGEDIT /S %CDROM%\\Install\\RegTweaks.regIt should look similiar to that and you can change the paths to fit your needs. Achdine Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 You can put the .reg import file wherever you want on your CD. The Windows install won't touch it by itself, it isn't part of its install. You need to call it yourself, whether with RunOnceEX, GUIRunOnce, CMDLines.txt, or a separate program such as WPI, XPlode or even a custom-made batch. Call it with "REGEDIT /S <path to the .reg file>".You can find more info about when/where/how to install things at the UnAttended CD/DVD Guide.
