tHeSiD Posted September 22, 2005 Share Posted September 22, 2005 i am having the same problem, terminal services isnt installed at all, no service, no remote tab in System Properties, mstsc.exe (Remote desktop ) dosent work, says mstscax.dll not found! as far as i remember i didnt touch the remove components section and didnt disable terminal services anywhere in the configuration.How do i reinstall terminal services?healp! Jeremy Posted August 12, 2006 Share Posted August 12, 2006 If i wanted that file, I would expand it from my source, not Google it. And I did expand it into my system32 folder, the tab did not show up. As I also already mentioned, I checked Remote Desktop in nLite's Compatibility menu off and 5 items from the remove list were hidden. I've tried ISOs from 3 different XP Pro SP2 sources with the same result on all of them.Zxian suggested it might be a driver issue, but I doubt it.
