vakhal Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 hello everyone, when i first got a sata hd i followed the instuctions of installing the drivers...and everything worked fine.then i started making my unattended cd's i didn't bother incorporating the sata drivers into the cd'sBUT funny enough i've never had to install them again...i've probably formated and reinstalled window about 6 times and they worked finesooo..... i don't understand why people are putting the sata drivers into their cd's
jbm Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 If windows has drivers for your controller, then you'll haveno problems. Otherwise you'll have use the F6 method oradd them to your CD.
Bâshrat the Sneaky Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 Maybe you're installing onto the PATA controller instead of the SATA controller of your mobo?
