How i can edit *.bin

Hi every body

i ask if i can edit *.bin as we know we can edit *.exe & *.dll &....with the use of resoure hack or PE explorer

i wanna to edit IO.sys which u can find in win 98 start up disk

Any help will be great.........

Well, with hex editor you can edit ANY file.

Resource Hacker or PE explorer are limited to PE format files, so that you cannot use them on IO.SYS, which is NOT a PE file, see here:

Problem is do you know WHAT to edit inside the IO.SYS file?
