Windows Update

Hi everyone! Does anyone know if theres a way to automatacly turn off Windows Updates?

So I dont have to go there and disable it everytime I install?

hi,

for me I use "Warn if new updates are available" .. so I have this :

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update]
"AUOptions"=dword:00000002

For disable I think it's

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update]
"AUOptions"=dword:00000000

if anyone can confirm ...

Thanks. Still waiting on the confirmation tho. However, I made my entire CD but never learned how to use regtweaks! I have tried the Guide but that section isnt ready yet. Do u know any www that has detailed information on how to do this?

OK. I found a post explaining on how to use Reg Tweaks.

Ill try that one and let you know latter on.

PS: Is there reg to make ONLY My Computer view, Tiles?

And ONLY Control Panel, Icons, view?

yes all options in windows are available in reg file.

the problem is to find the good reg !
