connect LCD monitor to old Graphic card

Featured Replies

As far as I know you can.

Only problems I heart of are some 5 year old Compaqs (Integrates video card (SIS or so) and Windows 98) that will not accept the TFTs, but still I think that´s not true. ;)

(Nice site, but still you need to do some work on 3D ;) )

As long as the LCD monitor has a VGA connector (DB-15) you can use any older video card to hook up to it.

The LCD I use has BOTH DVI and VGA connections (and stereo speakers, but that's another story <grin> :thumbup ) so I can hook up to it from a new videocard or old one.

Hope you get it working. Best wishes from rainy Atlanta GA.
