Can anyone tell me how to add a shortcut on vivitors' desktop when they visit my page?

a shortcut, which links to my page, on their desktop will make them visit my page more often. This is just kind of a bookmark :P .

If your website did that to my desktop, I would delete the shortcut and never return!!

Your site should be so good that people want to add it to their own faves list...... concentrate on that instead on installing shortcuts. :thumbup

This is very rude. Like slapping your bumper sticker on someones car without asking. Please reflect on the wisdom of TomcaTs post.

If you really want to prove the concept, put a button "Add Shortcut To Desktop" on your page. Short of an exploit (very,very wrong) You will need something like an activex control to do it.

Since nobody likes this idea, I am not going to put that feature on my page :( .
