Broadband Option greyed out

I have a small query here about connecting the computer with the dsl modem.

When i go ahead and create a profile inside the network connections in win xp, the second option which is "create using a broadband connection which requires a username and password" is been greyed out and i cannot click that.

and when i check for the lan settings ip assignment, the options are greyed out..

plz help me with this friendz...

htis is because you have an old xp bug this is linked to the fact that xp dont have the area code in it configuration.
