Alanoll Posted May 29, 2005 Posted May 29, 2005 assuming you didn't use nLite...Is the error can't OPEN or can't FIND? Also wrong forum.
yxqzme2 Posted May 29, 2005 Author Posted May 29, 2005 sorry bout being in wrong forum but i thought i was in WPIno i didn't use nlite though
yxqzme2 Posted May 29, 2005 Author Posted May 29, 2005 and it says can't openlike it doesnt know what type of file it is
Alanoll Posted May 29, 2005 Posted May 29, 2005 odd...It should be of type HTML Application I believe.Only thing I can think of is that the File Associations are messed up.Do you get the "Open With" box when you try and open it?check in your C:\Windows\System32 folder for a file called mshta.exe and see if it exists.
yxqzme2 Posted May 29, 2005 Author Posted May 29, 2005 i tried to open the wpi.hta with mshta.exe and it workedis there anyway i did something to unregister this during install?
Clint Posted June 15, 2005 Posted June 15, 2005 i tried to open the wpi.hta with mshta.exe and it workedis there anyway i did something to unregister this during install?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>That is quite possible if you modify your setup, I remove the whole IE shabang and ofcourse looses references in the registry in the process..use this @ T-12 or anytime you see fit :Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\.hta]@="hta_auto_file"[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\hta_auto_file\shell\open\command]@="\"C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\mshta.exe\" \"%1\""
