Last few little things.

Almost done with my unattended CD bar these last few little bits and pieces. After my installation finishes here is the list of things I still have to do before the system is "how I like it" for a fresh install.

Classic start menu enabled

Display administrative tools in start menu

Expand Contol panel in SM

Expand Net Cons in SM

Show small icons in SM

Unlock Taskbar

Return XP Classic Theme

Delete Windows Catalogue and Windows Update from Start Menu

Classic Window View

Show details in My Computer

Display contents of system folders

Unhide Protected system files

Enable Status bar in My Computer

Remove My Docs and IE icons from the desktop

Disable default sound scheme

I'm guessing the bulk of this is gonna be a regfile addition. Any help much appreciated.

Youre in luck! It just so happens you can find the answers to all of those with just one link!

Just a thought - if you have AD just set most of this stuff in GPO - you can configure more or less everthing here - lots of resources from MS...

If you dont have this ...then you'll need to run some clean up scripts, which as you say will require reg entries and some wsh/vbs I guess.....

I have similar stuff to do but I dont have to worry too much about the "build" after it joins the domain as policies are applied - I'll post my clean up when I write it..
