dman Posted May 23, 2005 Posted May 23, 2005 Yes, this is very cool and a great service. There is another one here-->http://hjt.iamnotageek.com/
Tarun Posted May 23, 2005 Posted May 23, 2005 Y'know. I wouldn't totally trust those sites. Both had a few false positives (same ones too).I think I need to work more on my HijackThis Converter (see image), adding whitelists.Btw guys, shouldn't this topic be in the Malware Prevention forum?
dman Posted May 23, 2005 Posted May 23, 2005 @tarunYes the iamnotageek site does not totally trust itself either. That is healthy. They do inform you of this fact.Disclaimer: This system is to be used as a generalized guide, this will not be right 100% of the time. We are of course trying our best to make it as accurate as possible. Even when an item is "red flagged" you need to double check this before deleting. Your Converter looks interesting too. Is It available to public, I would like to check it out. Don't see it on lunarsoft (your site looks good, BTW)
matrix0978 Posted May 23, 2005 Posted May 23, 2005 His software is very well made. Very accurate at all its readingss!
Tarun Posted May 23, 2005 Posted May 23, 2005 His software is very well made. Very accurate at all its readingss!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Actually it just converts it to be ready for BBCode or HTML. I do the cleaning myself, manually. It's more of a log beautifier. I just gotta learn how to code more in Delphi 7 Ent. to add a whitelist. It's not out yet, I wanna pop that whitelist in first.
