what is the best disk space monitor that sits in your system tray and tells you how much space you have left of each drive?

p.s. i am talking about freeware if anybudy knows :whistle:

I have used Norton Systemworks in the past to monitor disk space etc. Why would you want something running constantly in the Taskbar to monitor space. That will cause a lot of unnecessary overhead.

Unless you are developing applications or building massive packages I would not recommend cluttering up task manager with a lot of tasks. It will affect your system performance.

@tguy why would, i tell you why i need to know how much disk space i have left if i'm either downloading software or movies or something

@bledd witch sidebar do you have that will show C: , D: , E: , F:, ?

Hey there,

AveDesk is another great choice. Very easy on resources and has the drive space right on the drive icon on your desktop. Have a look through the desktop screenshots section for a few of my screenies and you'll have an idea of what's available. The SysStats addon is also capable of reading drive space and displaying it in ways to your liking.

@Zxian i prefer one in the system tray instead of the desktop :P so i can see the disk space all the time, then all i need to do is look down at the tray :D
