Can a virtual image of vmware that created on amd?

Featured Replies

Can a virtual image of vmware or virtualpc that created on amd pc work on an intel machine? and vice versa? I doubt it will work, but I just want to make sure :)

is there such a software that allow to do this?

Even if there would be a difference (which is not the case they both are x86) it wouldn't matter since this image is hardware indepedent : it's "all" emulation.

JMA is correct. It's all emulated, it doesn't matter. As long you won't be using it on a 64 bit Edition of Windows, it should keep on working fine.

i think so too

the machine is emulate by the software so the hardware can be an amd or intel pc

it should work without problems

so long
