bobbert Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 I'm running XP Professional with a single user, namely Administrator. There are no other user names since there is no need for them and since security isnt an issue i've left administrator without a password.I had everything setup so as to go straight to the desktop after booting up. Now after installing VS.NET and a few others, regardless of the fact that the SQL Debugger and ASP.NET users arent actual users, i boot to the welcome screen where Administrator is the only user...Is there no way to NOT have to go to the welcome screen? I know its a minor issue but the welcome screen is totally unnecessary since there is only ONE actual user. I know i can get rid of the welcome screen by deleteing the other non-user user accounts but they are necessary for programming purposes... so is there any other way?Please help!
MrCobra Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 Go to Control Panel then to User Accounts and delete the extra accounts that are listed.

Taggs Posted May 17, 2005 Posted May 17, 2005 I would STRONGLY recommend on using a password to login, especially if you use the internet! The harder it is for them to get in the better.
