i remember something similar but the "trick" resided on selecting the image (a new image totally different was displayed )

I bet you its not really in the GIF, but its actually a PHP GD image, having the script output something different depending on what browser is viewing it!

I doubt that is true, but I don't have any browser to prove you wrong with . (I have only Firefox... Okay, I'll admit IE still exists on my computer.)
