hi...

i was trying to add style xp to my unnatended cd

i worked out to use the /S switch in my RunOnceEx

it does install in the background , until it gets to the screen where it asks

to apply the coughdrop theme.

at that point you have to click either yes/no,

so it's not really an unnatned install

if any one knows how to fix this i would be very grateful.

also if all the applications i install don't need to reboot afterwards, does that mean that in the cleanup.cmd ....i can delete the ""shutdown.exe -r -f -t 60 -c "Windows XP will now restart in 1 minute...""" line ??

If you're installing StyleXP just for using unsigned themes, check out this page. Sorry for not answering your original question.

Is there a way to use WindowBlind/StyleXP themes without installing the software?

I beleive if you install it once (unattended after XP is installed), you can just save the theme you are using via microsoft themes in the Display properties.

I seem to remember doing it, but I do not remember if I did or not (it was originally for my girlfriend, but she quickly lost interest in coughdrops)
