Help With FIREFOX

I was just looking pictures for GOTHIC 3 on www.gh3d.com.....

And FIREFOX crashed COMPLETELY. When i closed it i turned it on again all my shortcuts and bookmarks dissapeared..... (YES THAT's RIGHT DISSAPEARED)

So i think its problem with the profiles in Firefox but i don't know where to find them????

And i have well protected computer (Kaspersky, AdWare, SpyWare,... And tons of programs). I think this isn't a virus.

Please tell me where i can locate profiles for FIREFOX...............

The Profiles are located here

C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\mozilla\Firefox\Profiles

Before checking those use taskmanager to see if there is a firefox.exe running, sometimes if there is a crash the firefox process is still in memory.

If your bookmarks.html files is screwed try restoring it from the backup, bookmarks.bak in the same dir

AdWare and SpyWare, that doesn't sound well protected...
