ipod usb drivers

every time i connect my ipod with usb, it has to load the drivers and everything. when i connect firewire, i dont have any wait. id like to have it like my digital camera, connect it, and then it runs. does anyone know how?

You are talking about connecting to the same computer with the same user and in the same USB?

I have an iPod, and I have never had any problems like this.. I mostly use Firewire at home, but at work I use USB, and it pops right up everytime...

i know, it jsut it always takes a few minutes to find all the drivers. it might be cuz my ipod came out before usb, i dont know...
