Synomenon
Anyone ever experience a duplicate tree in the library in Windows Media Player 10?It only starts happening when I add files to my library. I dunno if it has anything to do with the number of files I add. I have ~500 files in my library. They're .mp3, wave, midi, etc.. Is there a fix for this? DigeratiPrime
Try this: Close WMP then go to this folder%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media PlayerBakup and delete *.wmdbThen open WMP, is the duplicate tree still there? Does it reappear after rebuilding the library?[EDIT] According to this sitehttp://www.nwlink.com/~zachd/pss/pss.htmlIf you get a double library listing (which is just a visual defect), just switch away and then switch back to the Library pane.
