tguy Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Check the boot settings in the VM and see if it is set to boot from CD. When you first start the VM and press either F2 or F12 (can't remember exactly which one) and verify the boot order.Or you could scrap the VM shell you built and try creating a new one.
Bottom Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 Maybe you should try Microsoft VPC, should be easier.Anyway, I am not sure if my problme is to do with the VMWare or the Unattend XP ISO image. I can boot up with it in the VMWare, after copy the setup files to the virtual HDD, an error message pops up saying "Setup cannot set the required Windows XP configuration information. This indicates an internal Setup error. Cantact your system administrator".Can any one help ...
Screwz Luse Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 I kinda had this problem. I hit esc at the "BIOS" screen, then it'll ask what you want to boot from. Just select the third choice (should be CDROM) and it should boot from there.
Nanaki Posted April 22, 2005 Posted April 22, 2005 You sure you clicked the screen so you're IN VMware?
