what kind of tweaks do you recommand for windows xp for video editing if the pc isn't online?

Get the fastest CPU and the most memory you can afford. If you can't upgrade your CPU spend whatever you have on at least 1.5GB of RAM. More if you can afford it. Video sucks memory like air.

Oh lol aight... Well for services, you may disbale the following

-Wireless Zero Config (disable only if your not on a wireless network)

-Portable Media Serial Number

-Uninterruptible Power Supply

-Task Scheduler

-Net meeting Remote Desktop

Disabling some System Services will not significantly improve system running performance, as the amount of RAM saved is relatively small (maybe 10-30MB). If you have 1G RAM it's not going to matter. It shortens system startup time a little.

The most important reason for doing so is for tightening security.

If you're not running unnecessary programmes and not connected to the internet while editing video, no special tweaks are really necessary.

1st off all this pc isn't going to be online 2nd i don't need secuirity if it's not online so i do need registry tweeks and services
