Hamins Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 Hi everyone,This is my first post over here. What I would like to do is manually slipstream WinXP SP2, Hot-fixes, Critical updates etc etc.I have already installed all the critical updates on the PCs, via Automatic Update. They were downloaded and installed automatically via the update service. I dont know where the automatic update has downloaded them on the PC. So now when I run the Automatic update, or the Catalogue, it does not show or let me download the critical updates already installed on the PCs.I know how to slipstream, just the XP Service Packs, but not the other critical updates or hotfixes. I would like to know how to slipstream those too. Also, I would like to simply download the critical updates/hot-fixes alerady installed on my PC.Unfortunately, I cannot use nLite, as the IT policy at company where I am the Sys-Admin, does not permit downloading of software from the internet.I hope you'll have understood what I want. I need some help with the above.Thnx!!!
member11 Posted April 20, 2005 Posted April 20, 2005 you know why nobody answers your question.? well, they all want to use "google" but i'm a nice guy. I'll answer your question in a very short and easy way.you know how to slip stream SP on winxp.? good. about hotfixes thing.try to look "readme" in SP2, they will tell you how to do it. I believe that command is "integrate" with all the switches including silence one.good luck.
