please help me . i lose my internet connection every time im assigned a new i.p address. when this happens i have to go into network connections and click the repair tab for my computer to accept the new address, then im back on the net.

to add to this, sometimes this doesnt work, even when i unplug my modem and re-boot i can lose the internet for hours then all of a sudden i have it again.

is this a prob with my computer or windows.

It's probably a signal strength problem with your connection. Contact your ISP for advice.

im on a home pc on a local area network.my isp says there must be a problem with my winsock file and that i'll have to re-format my computer.

i'd just like to know if anyone else has had experience of this prob and if they
