Hi all,

I have a problem to install my nvidia driver ... I read on many website that i need to install my nvidia driver like an application ...

so i tried to install like that ..

extract from .exe, and then i used the next command line

REG ADD %KEY%\003 /VE /D "nVidia Driver 6800GT" /f

REG ADD %KEY%\003 /V 1 /D "%PP%APPS\nvidia\setup.exe -s -f1\"%PP%APPS\nvidia\setup_end.iss\" -f2\"%systemdrive%\nvidia.log\"" /f

in runOnceEx batch file ... but the driver don't want to install ...

(the driver is in WHQL)

Anyone have an idea to correct ?

You don't have to install your driver like an application

You can do it in your winnt.sif with the OemPnPDriversPath

btw, to reenable refresh rate overrides panel in new drivers, use this:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\NVTweak]
"NvCplDisableRefreshRatePage"=dword:00000000
