BoardBabe Posted April 6, 2005 Posted April 6, 2005 I am installing Energy bliss visualisation for WMP10, but it is not applied. How can i make this one apply to be the selected visualisation in WMP10?(note: i would still like to keep the WMP10 firstrun thingy)
SiMoNsAyS Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 placing MediaPlayer_10.dll on "%programfiles%\Windows Media Player\Visualizations" should do the job
BoardBabe Posted April 7, 2005 Author Posted April 7, 2005 I don't quite follow. what will this do? Is this where my current wmp10 settings are stored (found at my current wmp10 dir with settings ok)? I want only the (installed Energy bliss) vis to be set.
SiMoNsAyS Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 i see, your purpose is not to install that vis, your purpose is to set it as default vis... then you'll need to use a program like regshot to look for changes on your registryyou can start looking on the key "[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferences]"
BoardBabe Posted April 7, 2005 Author Posted April 7, 2005 Yes indeed that is wha I would like I have tried regshot but I could not find anything of interest when i changed vis. (A bit to my suprise).
Takeshi Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 How about the Media Player folder inside your profiles? There's a dat file there - not sure, just a guess.
