WINDOWS XP POST SP2 HOTFIXES

Hi, I have recently downloaded all the post sp2 hotfixes would included a batch cmd installer file, i am trying to find out with this reg command refers to, could you help me out? this is the line....

REG ADD "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\RemovalTools\MRT" /v "Version" /t REG_SZ /d "F8327EEF-52AA-439A-9950-CE33CF0D4FDD" /f

here is the batch.

** Sorry guys *** about the title being in CAPs!"

It adds a registry entry saying that the Microsoft Removal Tool (MRT) has already been run so it won't show up on windows update anymore.

Many thanks for your response, do you know which hotfix it refers too, as the batch installer is installing 100 hotfixes, and the reg add is at the end of the command line?

Fantastic, many thanks for your help thats that fixed then!.

I will down load it and add it in, and use the Reg Add to stop windows update finding it.
