TiXer Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 I found this disk in our storage that is an Ultra ATA disk.. What does that mean?? I know what SATA is, but I've never heard about Ultra ata before.. Tried searching for it, but google wasn't my friend to day and didn't give me any answers..
Bâshrat the Sneaky Posted March 30, 2005 Posted March 30, 2005 It's PATA with a maximum transfer rate of 133 MB/s. In theory of course. In reality the limit is ~125MB/s, but even that limit can't be accomplished by the current harddisks... (at least not HDDs in JBOD, RAID 1 or 5 or... can)
TiXer Posted March 30, 2005 Author Posted March 30, 2005 Ahhh.. So that's what it is.. Thnx for the explanation!
