I recently got an apple ipod (U2 edition) and i have a PC running on windows M.E and ive downloaded the same program like 5 times it keeps saying error a detached deviced attached to the system is not functioning. Ge0ph Posted March 26, 2005 Share Posted March 26, 2005 You might have better luck asking here.This has nothing to do with Windows NT4/2000/2003.BTW, what program are you downloading that is giving you the error and is it Windows ME compatable? sven Posted March 27, 2005 Share Posted March 27, 2005 itunes doesn't work in ME. so that would be your first problem. i can give you a program to sync your ipod. second..i dont believe the ipod works with ME.... if you look at the tech spacs on the ipod page on the apple website, it says windows xp or 2000. now the one thing im not sure(this is eprsonaly) is if 2000 and ME are the exact same thing. check that out first if its compatible.also, check out the apples support forums, they have a specific one for windows ipods.
