Hey wuts up dudes and dudettes i desperatly need help. I recently got an apple ipod (U2 edition) and i have a PC running on windows M.E and ive downloaded the same program like 5 times it keeps saying error a detached deviced attached to the system is not functioning. Ive Looked everywhere for the right downloads but i cant find them ... Sum one Please help me enjoy my new toy

BTW, what program are you downloading that is giving you the error and is it Windows ME compatable?

itunes doesn't work in ME. so that would be your first problem. i can give you a program to sync your ipod. second..i dont believe the ipod works with ME.... if you look at the tech spacs on the ipod page on the apple website, it says windows xp or 2000. now the one thing im not sure(this is eprsonaly) is if 2000 and ME are the exact same thing. check that out first if its compatible.

also, check out the apples support forums, they have a specific one for windows ipods.
