sonu27 Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 Hello,I am using Outlook 2003 SP1 on Windows XP Home SP2. Ever since I installed one of the Outlook updates, I think it was junk e-mail filter; my Outlook 2003 icon on the start menu beneath IE icon, has been changed to the Outlook Express icon. I love that Outlook 2003 icon and now its gone.Does anyone no a way of fixing this? This is how it looks now:As you can see it has been replaced by the Outlook Express Icon.It should really look like this:Thats the Outlook 2003 Icon.HELP?
KAndle Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Try this. Right-click on Start --> Properties. Then click the Customize button. There is an option for Show on Start menu on the General tab for which email program to display. Change it to Outlook. That should do it.

KAndle Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 I didn't read the caption just looked at the icon. Opps. I tried changing the main icon under All Programs and it didn't affect that icon at all so I'm not too sure. That is a new one to me.
Justice Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Try downloading TweakUI for XP and do an icon repair.
