gferen Posted March 14, 2005 Author Posted March 14, 2005 here is a picture of error. http://www.imagevenue.com/img.php?loc=loc1..._nofindwpi2.jpg (it's not my but it is similar.)
Kelsenellenelvian Posted March 14, 2005 Posted March 14, 2005 @ECHO OFFrem The following line hides the command window ...cmdow @ /HIDECHO.ECHO Calling WPIECHO.start /wait %systemdrive%\$OEM$\install\WPI\WPI.HTAexitDelete the $OEM% part it is starting the wpi on your c drive like this C:\%OEM%\install\wpi\wpi.htathat would not exist because the setup copies all files to the directory after %OEM%It needs to start the wpi file in c:\install\wpi.htaplus you should use the wpi.cmd file unless you have regged the needed file from another source.
gferen Posted March 16, 2005 Author Posted March 16, 2005 ok. so i have to delete $OEM$ path from install.cmdnow should be @ECHO OFFrem The following line hides the command window ...cmdow @ /HIDECHO.ECHO Calling WPIECHO.start /wait %systemdrive%\install\WPI\WPI.HTAexitare the folders correctly set? and this file install.cmd i must place in install folder?i would like to make this as a b oootable DVD. on dvd should be win xp and some programs. kelsenellenelvian can i ask you something? can you make a list how folders should be made? in witch order and where to put files of WPI an where to put files of programs witch i want to install? please
hasi001 Posted March 16, 2005 Posted March 16, 2005 Where did you get WPI from ? Look at the WPI homepage (klick my sig) - documentation - folder layout. It's a little bit outdated (the pics), but the base is correct. So RTFM first. Another thing is - if you do huge installs (taking long), it would be better to cal wpi.cmd instead of wpi.hta
gferen Posted March 16, 2005 Author Posted March 16, 2005 yes i get WPI from it's home page and i read the dovumentation. but it doesnt work. or there must be something wrong with my settings.
