i got a virus called W32.SillyP2P, well thats what norton says, i cant remove it and the site didnt help me. NOD32 detected it as Win32/VB.CA worm. i searched for 2 hours and found nothing, can someone help?

Did you go to system properties and undo your system, restore then redo it. That will clear it. Then rerun a check with the latest updates.

If you can't see a virus usually you have to have the "show system files" or use a progie like total commander, which is a better way, with the same show settings and the file will be easily found with the search feature. Personally I use an eraser to overwrite the virus once you know where it is. Then in case you forget to reset the system restore and you do go back to an earlier point, it basically will restore a 0 kb file that will do no harm.

Yeah, don't use Norton. It is garbage these days. Seriously. I had Norton years ago and it didn't do s*** for me. POS.
