How To Tell Windows Where To Look For Drivers...

zup peeps!

I am creating a master image at work which will have all the dell drivers for all our precision pc's in the office. The folders are located in

c:\dell\drivers\audio

c:\dell\drivers\video

c:\dell\drivers\nic

Within each folder there will be more folder for each type of device, ie: intel pro100, broadcom, intelpro1000, 3com, etc...

I would just like windows to point to those folders in case it doesnt find any drivers in the drivers.cab. Maybe just point to C:\Dell\drivers\ and then windows will just look through all the folder by itself.

any thoughts?

make the paths shorter like for instance:

C:\Dell\Audio

C:\Dell\Vidio

Makes it easier to manage and keeps it under the character limit.

Also use sysprep -bmsd and build a mass storage section.
