ceez
zup peeps!I am creating a master image at work which will have all the dell drivers for all our precision pc's in the office. The folders are located inc:\dell\drivers\audioc:\dell\drivers\videoc:\dell\drivers\nicWithin each folder there will be more folder for each type of device, ie: intel pro100, broadcom, intelpro1000, 3com, etc...I would just like windows to point to those folders in case it doesnt find any drivers in the drivers.cab. Maybe just point to C:\Dell\drivers\ and then windows will just look through all the folder by itself.any thoughts?thkzceez
Mr.J!M
What is a master image? Do you use unattend method or image like DriveImage or Ghost?
ceez
sorry...we are creating a master image, sysprep-ing it and then using ghost to image other pc's with the master image.
Triton
make the paths shorter like for instance:C:\Dell\AudioC:\Dell\VidioMakes it easier to manage and keeps it under the character limit. Also use sysprep -bmsd and build a mass storage section.
