i have include windows sp2.

can i reduse this huge size?

The answer is NO! It's not correct and normally it's below 500Mb.

My I386 folder is only 403Mb for instance.

lots of things tho can take into account for the size..

he could have put his $OEM$ folder in there

he could have added a ton of unneeded crap, hotfixes,updates & other things that maybe are for older versions of xp?

Fact of the matter is... its not right. In other words if you i386 folder is that large youve most definately screwed something up and placed things in there that should not be in there.
