Dynaletik Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 Hey guys. Is there a way to remove the Taskbar of Win XP completely?Because I got the Desktop Sidebar and I don't need the Windows Taskbar anymore. I can't find a option to disable it.PLEASE guys, please let me pimp my Windows.
Dynaletik Posted March 6, 2005 Author Posted March 6, 2005 Seems as if none of you knows how to achieve that, or isn't it even possible because it's an element of the explorer.exe?
clwalter Posted March 8, 2005 Posted March 8, 2005 Well I don't think you can disable it completely, however you can make it appear to be gone by setting it to auto-hide. OR, another option is to right click it, uncheck lock the taskbar, and resize the taskbar so its not visible. I guess you could do both so when in auto-hide and mouse over that area just the small line will popup. You will still see a line though.
