Is there a way to remove the Taskbar of Win XP completely?Because I got the Desktop Sidebar and I don't need the Windows Taskbar anymore. clwalter Posted March 8, 2005 Share Posted March 8, 2005 Well I don't think you can disable it completely, however you can make it appear to be gone by setting it to auto-hide. OR, another option is to right click it, uncheck lock the taskbar, and resize the taskbar so its not visible. I guess you could do both so when in auto-hide and mouse over that area just the small line will popup. You will still see a line though. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
