ziegler Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 I have a windows xp sp2 install dvd that is 2.02gb, and after adding .Net 2003 it is 3.05gb. MS Virtual PC does not like the ISO image and after burning to DVD it will not boot. I have tried the MS XP boot sectore and a linux boot sectore. Both have the same problem. Any ideas?
bauzer71487 Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 What did you make the image with.. CDImage GUI?? If you did, did you use the boot.ini file as the boot file?
Alanoll Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 mount it in a virtual CD rom drive (Daemon tools, or Alcohol) then have VirtualPC capture that CDrom
jbm Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 Use Alcohol120% and create a virtual drive with the ISO.Virtual PC will not work with images larger than about 2gig
